We’ve added a major upgrade to the application experience by giving users the freedom to choose how they want to verify their information.

Applicants can now pick between two seamless onboarding paths:

1. Apply Instantly

Users connect their bank through secure open-banking rails, allowing Carousel to verify identity, income, account ownership, and cash-flow data within seconds. This option is ideal for applicants who want the fastest path to approval, offering immediate verification with virtually no manual entry.

2. Apply Manually

For applicants who are not comfortable connecting their bank or prefer to provide information themselves, the Manual option allows them to enter income details, upload documents, or complete steps at their own pace. This route still benefits from Carousel’s automated checks, data validation, and fraud detection tools, but allows for more flexibility and personal control.

By offering both options in one flow, Carousel supports a wider range of user preferences and comfort levels, to maximize the number of completions. Applicants who want speed can complete everything instantly, while those who prefer a more traditional approach still enjoy a guided, modern process. Regardless of the path chosen, the experience remains secure, compliant, mobile-friendly, and fully orchestrated across verification partners.
