Small team. Unusually large surface area.
We're rebuilding how the world's largest capital market says yes. The team is small enough that your work ships to real applicants the week you finish it.
Open roles.
Six postings across Montréal and remote Canada. We reply within a week.
Thirteen workflow steps, five verticals, three surfaces — an applicant flow, a lender portal, and a developer platform — shipping weekly. You’ll own the roadmap that makes those releases compound instead of accumulate, working directly with the founder and the engineers who ship it.
What you’ll do
- Own the backlog across the applicant flow, lender portal, and developer platform — one roadmap, not three
- Turn operator calls, applicant sessions, and API feedback into specs engineers ship the same sprint
- Sequence provider integrations — bureaus, banks, courts — against product bets, and defend the order
- Instrument everything that ships; kill what doesn’t move completion, speed, or revenue
What we look for
- You’ve shipped fintech or marketplace product end to end — discovery to instrumented rollout
- Equally at home in an underwriter’s queue and an API schema
- Specs that survive first contact with engineering — edge cases named, not discovered
- You treat the roadmap like a P&L you personally own

NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis on AWS, speaking GraphQL subscriptions and REST to the surfaces and webhooks to customers. You’ll own the services that fetch, verify, and deliver the data behind every application — and the integrations with the banks, bureaus, and courts that supply it.
What you’ll do
- Design and run the provider integration layer — Plaid and Flinks bank rails, Equifax and TransUnion, court and registry sources
- Own the webhook and REST/GraphQL surface customers and partners build on
- Keep p95s honest as volume grows across five verticals — caching, queues, and the discipline around them
- Set the patterns — auth, idempotency, audit logging — the rest of engineering builds with
What we look for
- 5+ years shipping production Node/TypeScript backends; NestJS and Prisma fluency a strong plus
- Postgres depth — schemas, query plans, and why it’s slow
- Comfort with third-party APIs that misbehave, and event-driven patterns that absorb it
- You treat reliability as a feature with a roadmap, and document the sharp edges unasked

React and TypeScript across three surfaces: a phone-first applicant flow where every abandoned session is lost revenue, a lender portal that updates in realtime over GraphQL subscriptions, and a developer portal engineers judge in the first minute. You’ll own how all three feel.
What you’ll do
- Own the applicant flow — the highest-stakes UI in the company; completion rate is your scoreboard
- Build realtime portal experiences on GraphQL subscriptions without sacrificing responsiveness
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-faithful, accessible interfaces — WCAG as a floor, not a feature
- Own frontend performance budgets — lazy loading, bundle discipline, honest Core Web Vitals
What we look for
- Senior-level React and TypeScript; Next.js, Tailwind, and Redux or Zustand in production
- You’ve shipped consumer-grade flows under fintech constraints — compliance copy, error states, interrupted sessions
- Playwright or equivalent testing as habit, not chore
- Taste — you notice the 2px that’s wrong and fix the system that produced it

Carousel’s rails run tenant screening, consumer lending, mortgage, auto finance, and business lending — and most of those markets haven’t heard from us yet. You’ll be the first dedicated commercial hire building pipeline into new verticals, lenders first, working directly with the founder.
What you’ll do
- Build and run outbound into lending desks, leasing operators, and dealer groups — from zero, your book
- Own discovery through demo to pilot; bring the founder in to close, then learn to close without him
- Feed product the market’s words verbatim — objections, pricing signals, the integration questions that stall deals
- Shape the playbook — sequences, qualification, pricing conversations — that the team after you will run
What we look for
- You’ve sold into financial services, proptech, or fintech — or can prove you can learn a credit desk’s language fast
- A hunter — you build lists, write crisp outbound, and keep a clean pipeline without being chased
- Comfortable demoing a technical product and holding your own on integration questions
- Ambitious enough to want the vertical-lead seat this role grows into

Bureau files, bank transactions, court records, and application funnels across five verticals — and a capital arm underwriting on the same rails. You’ll build the benchmarks, risk views, and product analytics that turn that exhaust into decisions, and into the published numbers our content stands on.
What you’ll do
- Own analytics across bureau, bank-rail, and legal-record data — SQL and Python pipelines that hold up
- Build completion, verification, and time-to-decision benchmarks per vertical — the numbers we publish and defend
- Partner with the capital divisions on credit performance views — vintages, delinquency, concentration
- Give product and growth an honest experiment readout — no vanity metrics survive you
What we look for
- Strong SQL and working Python; you’ve built analyses people bet money on
- Real credit background — bureau data, scorecards, delinquency math, portfolio monitoring
- Rigor about sources: every number traceable, every definition written down
- You can explain the same finding to a founder, an underwriter, and an auditor

A research-grade blog, five vertical funnels, an ROI calculator, and a demo pipeline — the assets exist; your job is to make them compound. You’ll run the experiment loop across acquisition and lifecycle, and own the search surface — classic SEO and the answer-engine kind — that our content strategy is built for.
What you’ll do
- Run the experiment loop across site, blog, and lifecycle — hypothesis, ship, readout, next
- Own SEO and GEO operations: rankings, citations in AI answers, internal linking, the technical surface
- Build lifecycle loops with product — from first visit through demo to activation
- Keep the analytics honest and the wins written up so they become playbook
What we look for
- A T-shaped generalist who ships weekly — you’d rather launch the test than perfect the deck
- You write well enough to publish, and read analytics well enough to know what to write next
- Comfortable in GA-class tooling and light SQL; curious enough to learn the rest
- Ambitious — you want to own a channel outright within a year
